It’s a rather famous slot machine. According to MGM Grand, it gets played five times more than other slots on average. There’s not one day that passes when their staff is not asked where the machine is placed.
It even has its own twitter account (@mgmlionsshare) and an article from Wall Street Journal further stressed on what player’s will soon get from this progressive slot machine that’s been stingy for 20 years. The only question is exactly when will it give the jackpot?
So when the Misco couple saw three green emblems horizontally line up on the jackpot pay line, they couldn’t believe their eyes. “It was surreal when it happened,” Walter Misco said.
Now that the famous Lion’s Share slot has given up its jackpot, it’s time for it to retire. And because it was the Miscos who’s walking away with the anticipated jackpot, MGM is considering letting them take the slot machine home with them.
