Poker Tournament Schedules for November

It’s going to be a busy start of the month for poker because it promise a series of exciting tournaments and events!

If you want to join the fun, then you should, by all means, know the schedule of what’s going to happen in the poker world and where it’s going to be.  We have the schedule below:

November 3 -8, 2015

2015 CPT-Punta Cana will feature 10 No-Limit Texas Hold’em events.  It will also include ladies ones and special survivor.  The highlight of the tournament is the $1,650 No-Limit Hold’em that guarantees a prize pool of a whopping $500,000!

Buy-in amount range from $140 to $3,200.  The whole event will take place from November 4-8.  The $1,650 No-Limit Hold’em will happen on November 3 to 8 at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Punta Cana.

November 5 to November 23

The 2015 PPO Fall Series will feature 38 exciting events and players can enter any and all of the events here.

The main event of this series is the four-day $1,000 No-Limit Hold-em that has a prize pool of $100,000.  All the featured events have a guaranteed prize pool.  Buy-ins start at $125.

Planning to join?  Just visit Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as they will be hosting the event.  The tournament will commence on November 5 up to November 23.  The main event is scheduled on November 20.

November 6 to 9

Following the World Poker Tournament National (Check out about WPT at: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Poker_Tour)?  It will visit next to Georgia and will be hosted by Europe-Bet Poker Room in Tbilisi.

But aside from the WPT National event which will happen from November 6 to 9, players will also have to option to enjoy a number of side events.  Guaranteed prize pool is pegged at $100,000 and buy-in is at $1,000.

November 6 to 22

The 2015 L.A. Poker Open will feature 18 No-Limit Hold’em, H.O.R.S.E., Stud, Omaha and more!

You can join the game for a low $75 to as much as $1,650 for a guaranteed prize pool of half a million dollars!  The festival will begin November 6 until November 22 at Commerce Casino in Los Angeles with the main event beginning on November 20.

November 6 to 7

Are you a poker high-roller?

NetEnt to further expand business in Malta

Net Entertainment (NetEnt) said they are planning further expansion to their existing business in Malta.

Managing Director of NetEnt Malta, Enrico Bradamante, disclosed this information during the visit of Jose Herrera, Parliamentary Secretary for Competitiveness and Economic Growth and Joseph Cuschieri, Executive Chairman of the Malta Gaming Industry (MGA) at the NetEnt office in Ta’Xbiex.

NetEnt (Get to know the company’s background at: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Netent) has been in Malta for almost a decade and currently employs 157 employees.  They plan to increase workforce in Malta by twenty percent.  They are also planning to expand to new offices next year.

“…We are planning further expansion.  We are committed to continue building on the good business relationship established over the years with the Malta Gaming Authority,” Bradamante said.

Jose Herrera said regulating remote gaming started out as an experiment.  “…Ten years later, Malta became an experienced regulator,” Herrera said.

Malta was one of the first EU member state to regulate remote gaming.  Now, it is looked up to as a role model by other countries when it comes to remote gaming regulation.  Cuschieri said though that they would continue to innovate to address the challenges that the industry is facing.

“The regulatory review currently underway which will lead to new legislation is taking into account new emerging trends in consumer behavior, technology development, mobility of services and interoperability amongst other factors,” added Cuschieri.

Matthew works for their family business—at Live Land Hermit Crabs and Painted Shells—where they sell souvenir items at Sharkheads in Biloxi and other shops in the Gulf Coast.

First NetEnt games go live in New Jersey

Get ready New Jersey players!  For the first time in history, a selection of games from NetEnt is now available in your area. 

The online casino software giant has received a transactional waiver for Borgata and bwin.party brands just this September.  The waiver grants NetEnt the right to launch games while their application for a full license is under review.

And now, they are taking the first step to get into the North American market with the integration of NetEnt software with the Borgata online casino.

Initially, NetEnt will deliver from a selection of the company’s best in-breed multi-channel games with some titles already live.  Over time, more NetEnt games will be introduced to the New Jersey market.

CEO of NetEnt, Per Eriksson, said they have set a goal to go live in North America for the second half of 2015 and they are pleased they were able to complete it.

Björn Krantz, Managing Director of NetEnt Americas LLC, has also expressed his delight.
